This is an amazing book that will challenge your views on Cuba today and Cubans. The entrepenurial and creative spirit is alive there and this book illustrates why we are more alike than different. A must read. Pictures and design are wonderful and the visual story the book tells us illuminating.
Hermes Mallea has written a third insightful and beautiful book. His "Great Houses of Havana" took us from 1860 to 1960. "Havana Living Today" covers 1960-today. Stylish homes beautifully photographed with a fascinating text. Kudos.
Photography was beautiful and reading material was both historical and well worth the time.
Beautiful photograhped images of interiors of Havana. A unique take on images that most tourist or even every day cubans don't see.
